V’s Cards & Trading, LLC (“V’s Cards & Trading,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the retail store at 134 W. Middle St, Suite F, Chelsea, Michigan 48118, the website vscardsandtrading.com, our booths at card shows, and our storefronts on third-party marketplaces. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us

  • Orders: name, shipping and billing address, email address, phone number, and order details when you buy from our online shop.

  • Contact and quote requests: name, email address, phone number, and any details, photos, or card lists you send us when you contact us or ask for a quote on your collection.

  • Selling or trading to us: for purchases of $250 or more, we ask for your name, address, phone number, email address, and a valid government-issued photo ID, recorded on a signed Statement of Ownership and Bill of Sale. For smaller purchases we keep a digital receipt.

  • Payments: payments are handled by our payment providers (such as PayPal, Venmo, Stripe, Zelle, ACH, and Square). We do not store full card or bank account numbers.

  • Store credit: if you take trade credit, we keep a record of your name and balance.

Information collected automatically

  • When you visit our website, our website platform (Squarespace) and analytics tools may collect your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit, and similar usage data through cookies. You can control cookies in your browser settings.

Information from marketplaces

  • When you buy from us on eBay, TCGplayer, Whatnot, Decktradr, or other marketplaces, that marketplace shares the order details we need to complete your purchase. Each marketplace’s own privacy policy also applies to your use of it.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • process, ship, and support your orders, returns, and payments;

  • respond to questions and prepare quotes and offers for your cards or collection;

  • complete and document purchases and trades, verify ownership, and help prevent fraud and the sale of stolen goods;

  • keep accurate inventory across our sales channels so the same item is not sold twice;

  • keep business, tax, and accounting records as required by law;

  • send you updates or promotions if you ask to receive them. You can opt out at any time.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

  • with service providers who help us run the business, such as payment processors, shipping carriers, our website and point-of-sale platforms, and accounting software, and only as needed for them to do their work;

  • with the marketplace where you placed your order;

  • with grading companies (such as PSA), but only when you ask us to submit cards on your behalf;

  • when required by law, such as in response to a subpoena or a lawful request from law enforcement, or to protect our rights, our customers, or the public.

4. How Long We Keep Information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Purchase, trade, and Statement of Ownership records, including ID details, are kept for as long as tax, accounting, and secondhand-goods record rules require, and are then securely deleted.

5. How We Protect Information

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including limiting who can access it and storing records in secured, access-controlled systems. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Children

Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Customers under 18 must have a parent or guardian present to sell or trade items to us.

7. Your Choices and Rights

You may ask us to:

  • give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you;

  • correct information that is wrong;

  • delete your information, except for records we are required by law to keep;

  • stop sending you marketing emails, which you can also do with the unsubscribe link in any email.
